Aerofoam specializes in a range of technologies for producing high-quality aircraft seating, some of which are thermoforming, CNC high-speed routing, high-speed water jet cutting, cut-to-size and sheeting.
Thermoforming
Aerofoam has also been thermoforming for more than 35 years. We are a leader in thermoforming technologies. Whether it's a simple thermoformed component or a turn key food tray assembly, we have the ability to meet all you requirements in house. Aluminum tooling can be CNC produced or cast in a very short time frame to supply your prototyping and production needs.
We have the capability to run multiple tools simultaneously on our thermoformers. Aerofoam has years of experience in forming ABS, Kydex, Boltaron, Polycarbonate plastics and Cross-Linked foams to name just a few.
CNC High-Speed Routing
We utilize our CNC high speed routers to furnish a dimensionally accurate trim to our thermoformed plastic parts, as well as rigid and flexible foam fillers. Lead times are drastically reduced as conventional trim fixtures are no longer required. Whether an easy or complex trim, simply provide us with a CAD file and we will do the rest.

High-Speed Water Jet Cutting
Aerofoam has the capability to waterjet cut steel, Aluminum, plastics, and foam through the use of water jets pressurized at 55,000 PSI. With one machine, we can cut multiple layers of material with multiple heads accurately to out perform any conventional cutting means, while retaining the ability to prototype on another machine all at once. This process does away with die cutting and jig cutting. Water jet cutting is clean and extremely accurate; and removes the concavity and distortion from conventional cutting means.
Cut-to-Size & Sheeting
Aerofoam is the leading distributor of foam shapes and sheets in the Western U.S. We stock a vast inventory of foams, and we can cut and ship immediately.
Laminating
Aerofoam can laminate virtually any fabric to any foam or substrate material.
Material Stocking Programs
Aerofoam is also one of the largest suppliers of cut to-size foam, sheets, plank, and profile shapes in the region. We pride ourselves on carrying the largest inventory of FR foams and fabrics in the industry.
