Cushion Materials

Aerofoam prides itself on being the largest supplier on FR grade materials on the West Coast. We stock FR grades from the following manufacturers: Carpenter, Dunlop, Foamex, NCFI (DAX), Zote Foam, and Sealed Air to name a few. These foams are always in stock, and we provide certification to the CFR25.853 specification. We specialize in aircraft seating.

FLOTATION FOAMS

• 4101 - The first polyethylene flotation foam still in wide use today. (Density 2.2 lbs. per cu. ft.)
• SYNERGY FR - It is is a lightweight alternative to the 4101. (Density 1.7 lbs. per cu. ft.)
• LD45FR - Cross-linked polyethylene foam. (Density 1.4 lbs. per cu. ft.)
• LD24 FR - Cross-linked polyethylene foam. (Density 1.5 lbs. per cu. ft.)
• AF1.5 FR - A new lightweight, cost-effective alternative to the LD24 FR.

POLYURETHANE FOAMS

We use the finest high resilient foams available. These foams allow us to achieve comfort levels that are setting standards in the industry.

• CARPENTER—Grades includeQ11, Q31, Q41, Q51
• FOAMEX—Grades include: 145-24FR, 180-33 FR, 250-45 FR, & AF180-33FR Memory Foam
• NCFI DAX FOAMS—DAX 25, DAX 45, DAX 55, DAX 90

FIRE-BLOCK MATERIALS

Required on all seat cushions, some of these are produced exclusively for Aerofoam. Including: AFS757, AFSX192:26, AF7535, AF7725.
