Delta Air Lines recently unveiled their newest A330-900 NEO. This plane, (N401DZ), was delivered on May 25, and will be flying long haul international routes to Asia. The aircraft’s first flight was on July 10 from Seattle to Shanghai and returned on the 12th.
Aerofoam Industries is proud to announce that every aircraft seat cushion and cover on this plane from Delta One to Economy was manufactured in Southern California at an Aerofoam facility. This aircraft’s interior design is a prime example of the innovative and provoking nature of the commercial airline industry. The Delta One business suite features gorgeous quilting in both the back and bottom cushions. The design pushes the envelope for increased aesthetics and is extraordinarily comfortable. In addition, the look and feel of Delta’s Premium Select is unbeatable.
Recently, Delta has been making waves in the industry for heavily investing in the passenger experience. Aerofoam’s comfort cushions and laminated covers help further that message. The Points Guy senior editor Darren Murph had this to say about the A330-NEO inaugural flight, “The memory-foam seating is a delight, and there’s truly nothing quite like having a lie-flat bed in the sky when you’re traveling 11+ hours nonstop.” Aerofoam is proud to say every seat in the whole 4 cabin configuration includes memory foam padding.
The seating layout of the A330-NEO includes the Delta One business class cabin with 29 crystal cabin award-winning suites. The main section of the plane is equipped with 168 economy seats and 56 Comfort Plus, premium economy aircraft seats.
For passengers interested in flying on a Delta A330-NEO and Aerofoam equipped cushions and covers, this plane will be regularly flying the Seattle-Shanghai route. As well look out for Aerofoam products onboard Delta’s A350-900, Refurbished 777’s, and their upcoming A321-NEO.
