Duralite FR is an ethafoam polyethylene closed cell foam. Duralite FR is flame retardant and suitable for use in commercial aircraft interiors.
DuraLite FR is a durable, flexible and inherently lightweight foam with excellent vibration and shock absorbency properties. Duralite FR has outstanding dimensional stability and recovery characteristics. DuraLite FR's water resistant capabilities make it the ideal material to use as flotation cushion also.
This combination of features makes it an excellent choice for load bearing areas in seat cushions such as primary seat bottom cushions and horse collars to protect exposed areas of the seat from impact, such as aisle side parts and headrests.
