AF01010006 is a high density polyurethane based, graphite filled aviaiton suitable for use without fireblocking in commercial airline interiors.
The AF Comfort Series are all extremely high resilient ensuring a prolonged life in service while being significantly less prone to shearing and dusting than conventional foams. AF01010006 meets the requirements of CFR 25.853. Part 1, the 12 second vertical burn and CFR 25.853 part 2, the seat oil burn or Kerosene burn test as standard without needing a fireblocking layer.
AF01010006 is the highest density of the standard AF Comfort Series providing excellent shape definition. AF01010006 provides the most support characteristics for the aircraft seat cushions and dress covers. This material is commonly used in situations where an exceptional degree of support, vibration dampening, or resilience is required. AF01010006 can be used as a base layer for cushions, a soft decorative surface, or even as a lamination layer where firmness is necessary. All members of the Comfort Series, including AF01010006 were developed to be used for lamination.
